Storyline for our groups

Poor Aleef

It was a fine day. Aleef wanted to meet his dearest, Maia, in the park. He came with a bouquet of flower in his hand. He sat under a tree overlooking the breathtaking garden.

It was breezy and he lovingly breathed the scent of the flower in. To his surprise, a bird’s poop fell on his bouquet. He looked up and he saw a bird. A little bird, seemingly unaware of what happened. Consumed with rage, Aleef immediately grabbed a pebble and tried to hit the bird with it.

But it was fast, too fast for the pebble that Aleef threw. It gracefully fended off all attacks. Aleef tried again and again. But instead, the bird pooped and the feces fell on his face.

Angrier, Aleef found a saw and was really determined to chop the tree down. He began to saw it with all his might. At a distance, he held a glance of Maia. Before he could catch his tongue, the tree he worked on tumbled on top of Maia.

It was a miserable day for Aleef.

Assignment 2

3d animation process

The Diagram had a 3 stages : -

1. IDEA

  • Idea which is starts of any
  • animation process.
  • from daily lives
  • from our experience

2.storyboarding

Storyboarding process to determine what the animation will look like.
show the key visual elements at various points in the animation

there are 3 types :-

  • thumbnail skecthes
  • rough pass
  • clean up

3.voice recording

  • it usually involves sound effects, actor’s voice and music
  • Music is more than just filling a gap, but it also reflects emotion and supporting the action.
  • soundtrack will be mixed together

4.time division and planning

  • Artist will use model sheet as a guidelines for animator
  • Director will plan time and record in the dope sheet.
  • to make the process smooth.
  • to syncrhonize sound and animation

5.modelling

  • the animation are drawn or modeled in two or three dimensions.
  • ussually using on Autodesk 3ds max or Autocad.
  • the drawing or model are not detail yet.

6. Materials

  • materials applied to define their surface appearance
  • Materials specify properties like shininess, transparency, translucency, reflectivity, texture, and of course, color.
  • Proper materials allow viewers to identify objects such as glass, fabric and water.

7. lighting and effect

  • lighting is important for creating realism and an appealing image
  • Lighting allows us to control the appearance of shadows and highlights.
  • Visual effects can be added as required, including glows, fire effects, fog, and lens flares.

8. Animation

  • all of the stuff are put in the animation.
  • ussually using adobe flash.
  • this animation will use the direction of storyboard and the planning.

9. simulation

  • to increease the realistic of the model.
  • allow us to achieve realistic fluid, cloth, and hair effects.
  • other than that we can make the accidents shot more realistic.

10. Renderings

  • rendering is the process of generating an image from a model, materials, lighting, and effects
  • Rendering takes all of our work thus far and calculates the individual pixels for each frame.
  • this is the final process for production

11. editing and compositing

  • change the sequence of shots or trim the shot durations of a given animation.
  • synchronize the visuals with a voiceover or to improve the timing of an animation.
  • balance the pace the information being delivered to keep viewers interested without moving too fast and overwhelming them.

12. publish

  • the uncompressed video out of editing/compositing and converts this video to the intended format for delivery.

assignment 1

Types of shot

1.extreme close up

The extreme close up is used to reveal very small details in the scene. It might be used to reveal horror in a subject (extreme close up of the subject's mouth as she/he screams). It might also be used in a mystery to show some detail that the detective picks up on or to show some small clue.

2. close up

The close up shot is used to reveal detail. If you are shooting just the head and shoulders of a subject this is a close up.

3. medium shot

The medium shot is from just below the waist to above the head. There is more headroom than in the bust shot. This show is used if the person is animated with their hand movements, etc.

4. over the shoulder shot

The over the shoulder shot reveals one subject as seen from over the shoulder of another subject. It simulates a view of the subject as seen from the second person's eyes. This shot is often used in conversations between two people where the dirtector wants to focus on the person speaking. Usually these shots are head shots (close ups of the speaker).

4. establishing shot

this gives the viewer some perspective as to where the subject is. This is very important if the subject is moving to new locations or times. It lets the viewer know where the video is taking place.
